This study will explore the way in which we develop our sexual fantasies. We shall also examine where our fantasies might come from, and what effect it might have on our intimate relationships if we share them with others, or even act them out.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY SEXUAL FANTASY?
There are many types of sexual fantasy. Sexual fantasies can be brief thoughts which enter our minds when we see someone to whom we find ourselves attracted, or momentary sexual thoughts that might occur to us at any time. This type of sexual fantasy will not be our primary focus in this research project.

This study explores our more permanent, recurring sexual fantasies, perhaps those which we have experienced again and again over a longer period of time, as opposed to fleeting sexual thoughts. Longer-term fantasies are the private sexual thoughts or scenarios we might call to mind when having sex with others, or whilst masturbating (sex with ourselves). This type of fantasy will often be highly arousing, and often causes us to reach orgasm. These fantasies sometimes involve other people, specific places, and precise events.

ABOUT THE SURVEY
We are particularly interested in knowing about the detailed sexual fantasies which excite you the most and might bring you to orgasm. Please always provide as much detail as possible.
